Diet & Nutrition
Crested geckos are omnivorous: they consume fruit, nectar, and insects.
Primary Diet
A high-quality commercial CGD (Crested Gecko Diet) 3–4x weekly:
- Repashy
- Vital Meal
- Lugarti’s
- Pangea
- Leapin’ Leachies
- Zoo Med
- BPZ (Breeder’s Premium diets)
Rotate flavors for enrichment and balanced nutrition.
Insects (Optional but beneficial)
Offer 1–2x weekly:
- Dubia roaches
- Crickets
- Black soldier fly larvae
- Silkworms
Gut-load and dust insects with calcium + D3 if your gecko does NOT receive UVB.
Without UVB: use D3 at least every other insect feeding.
With UVB: D3 once every 2–3 feedings.
